A DIFFERENT WAY OF APPROACHING HEALING
Therapy is not about change. It's about acceptance.
So much of our suffering comes not only from what we've experienced, but also from the ways we've learned to judge, reject, or disconnect from ourselves. We may carry shame about our past, struggle with parts of our identity, or find ourselves repeating patterns we don't fully understand.
Therapy offers another possibility.
Rather than approaching ourselves as problems to be fixed, we can begin exploring our experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.
I believe that meaningful change often emerges through this process of acceptance.
You don't have to do this alone.

Accessing Your Health Records
As a client, you have the right to request access to your health records, subject to applicable federal and state laws. Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), you generally have the right to inspect or receive copies of the health information maintained about you in your designated record set, including treatment and billing records. Certain records, including psychotherapy notes maintained separately from the medical record, may be excluded from this right. To request a copy of your records, please contact me through a secure communication method. I may ask you to complete a written request and verify your identity to protect your privacy. Requests will be addressed within the time required by applicable law. HIPAA generally requires a response within 30 calendar days, although a permitted extension or a shorter state-law deadline may apply. Any applicable fees will be limited to those permitted by law. You may also request information about how your health information is used, disclosed, and protected. For additional information, please review my Notice of Privacy Practices or visit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website at https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/.

Clients are encouraged to participate from a private, safe location with a reliable internet connection. **Privacy & Confidentiality** Your privacy is important. Information shared in psychotherapy is treated as confidential, subject to applicable legal and ethical exceptions.
